letter from apple recordsThis letter came in February 1969 from Apple Records, requesting a demo tape. The process was triggered by a multi-band show that Mary Jane Bann'd played a few months earlier on a farm near Eldorado Springs, Colorado. There were a number of rumors about various well-known rockers of the time being in the audience and we were given Peter Asher's contact information.

A few weeks after we received this letter, Duck was injured in a car crash and MJB was put on a temporary hold. Unfortunately the demo never was cut.

MJB always advertised on the cheap. This one was a photo we found some where and marked up with a Magic Marker.

Another on-the-cheap flyer. This one is for a post-Christmas gig at a place called the Blind Pig in Longmont, Colorado. A friend donated her backside to the cause.

These drum heads were on Jim's double-kick Ludwig drum set and were used into the early 1982 tour. They were retired when Mary Jane Bann'd became The Corrupters in the spring of 1982.

Stubber always got a chuckle twisting the ignition key of Duck's first Austin Healey so it would backfire in the Boulder Canyon tunnels.
